music CD’s and videos was reduced to a trickle?

Without these, and so many other library offerings, the entire community would be a poorer place to live, learn and work. Programs of the Des Moines Public Library touch the lives of people of all ages, all backgrounds, in all areas of metro Des Moines. And these wonderful opportunities for learning, recreation and community building are offered free, only through the support of this community. City funding must be limited to the library’s operational needs only.
