Bad Art Night: Oceans

Join us for an evening of ocean themed bad art at the East Side Library. This all-ages event will showcase your creativity. Materials will be provided for you to make a “bad” piece of art – -use your creativity to make your best ocean themed Pinterest fail or mess-terpiece. Each team will have about 30 minutes to create their work, then each piece of art will be put into our exhibition for all to vote. Three "winners" will be chosen with fun prizes. Light refreshments will be provided. Families/Teams are encouraged to register below.

The music lives on at Forest Avenue Library! Anthony Gonzalez, Gael García Bernal, and Benjamin Bratt give voice to the characters of Coco, an animated celebration of music, family, and forgiveness! Miguel loves music, but old family wounds forbid him from pursuing his dreams of musical greatness. When a photograph on the family’s ofrenda during Dia de los Muertos reveals a secret, Miguel travels to the Land of the Dead to discover the truth about his musical heritage.
